I am an applied vegetation and restoration ecologist.

I'm interested in practical approaches to restoring disturbed landscapes and supporting conservation efforts in boreal and mountain ecosystems.

My past research explored how climate and species interactions influence population dynamics and species distributions.
Biosketch
Currently, I am an Applied Vegetation Ecologist at SwampDonkey Solutions (2025 - present). 

I worked as a BRITE research fellow / Resource Technologist for the BC Ministry of Forests (2024-2025).

I completed my PhD in the Angert lab in the Biodiversity Research Centre at the University of British Columbia (2020 - 2025)

I completed my M.Sc. in the Northern EDGE lab in the Geography Department at Memorial University of Newfoundland (2017-2019)

During my undergrad, I was a research assistant in the Palen Lab at Simon Fraser University, BC, the Landscape and conservation science research group at SFU, and with Dr. Esteban Suárez at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador (2010-2015).
